A golfer in the U.S. state of Ohio survived after being struck by lightning in the hand. Meteorologist Matt DeWitt reported the incident on a page on the social network X.
DeWitt said the lightning struck the man while he was filming a thunderstorm on a golf course. He attached a video of the moment to his post.

DeWitt spoke with the man afterward. The golfer said he felt the lightning hit directly in his arm. He is now recovering from the injury.
It was previously reported that in Thailand, lightning killed a 24-year-old soccer player during a match. A bright flash lit up the stadium, a loud crash followed, and several players fell to the grass.
