Russian children’s channel Karusel will air the Russian premiere of the French animated series Grosha and Mr. B. (Grosha et Mr B.) on August 1, following two mismatched cat detectives at a Special Bureau of Investigations.
The pair could hardly be more different. Grosha is a street-raised cat who trusts only his instincts, while Mr. B. is a cerebral homebody who calculates several moves ahead. The two barely tolerate each other and constantly argue over who is in charge, yet they must unite to crack the toughest cases, particularly as a wave of absurd crimes sweeps their city.
On the same day, Karusel will also premiere the French adventure film Belle and Sebastian: The New Generation, a new take on the story of a boy and his large white dog.
On August 8, the channel adds the Spanish feature Lincessa: Secrets of the Forest (Lincessa. Los Silencios del Bosque, 2023), about a curious young lynx discovering a mysterious forest for the first time.
New episodes of several animated series, including Luntik, Orange Cow, and Mini-Bears, are also scheduled for young viewers.
