Eva Longoria says she will never allow her eight-year-old son Santiago to watch her performance on the hit series Desperate Housewives.
Longoria, 51, starred as Gabrielle Solis, one of the scandalous residents of the fictional Wisteria Lane, throughout the show's entire run from 2004 to 2012.
The cast also included Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Nicollette Sheridan and Felicity Huffman.
During the very first season of the drama, Gabrielle engages in an extramarital affair with her 16-year-old gardener John Rowland, played by Jesse Metcalfe.

The actress told People magazine that her son has recently become "obsessed" with internet memes of her character that are circulating on YouTube.
"So lately I've been seeing a lot just because of him discovering it," Longoria said. "He asks: 'Mom, when can I watch it?' And I'm like: 'Never.'"
Despite the firm rule against watching the show, Longoria plans to score points with Santiago by taking him to an upcoming Bruno Mars concert.
"As soon as he saw Bruno was touring, he was like: 'No way, oh my God! We gotta find a date to go,' and immediately got online," she said.
Anniversary in France
Longoria, who was previously married to soap star Tyler Christopher and basketball professional Tony Parker, celebrated her 10th wedding anniversary with television producer Jose Baston in May.
In the interview, she detailed a recent extravagant date night the couple enjoyed in the Loire Valley in France to mark the occasion.
"We went to a castle. He always does something big, and it was very romantic," she said. "But a typical date night for us is me cooking dinner, usually tacos, while he opens a bottle of wine."
Denying political rumors
Longoria and her family now divide their time between Mexico and Spain, following decades of living in Los Angeles.
Following Donald Trump's 2024 election victory, social media rumors suggested the actress had fled the United States due to the changing political climate. The speculation was fueled by comments she made to Marie Claire referring to the country as a dystopia.
However, Longoria purchased a house in Marbella in 2023 and relocated with her Mexican businessman husband and their young son before Trump secured his second term.
To dispel the rumors, Longoria recently called her friend Ana Navarro, a host on The View, while Navarro was recording her podcast, The View: Behind the Table.
"Will you please let them know I didn't move out of Spain, I mean, the United States, because of Trump?" Longoria asked, adding that she has been working in Europe for almost three years.
Leaving Los Angeles
The Texas native explained that the "vibe" in Los Angeles had started to shift before the COVID-19 pandemic, and sharply criticized both California and the US in general.
"And then COVID happened, and it pushed it over the edge. Whether it's the homelessness or the taxes, not that I want to s*** on California, it just feels like this chapter in my life is done now," she said.
She added: "I'm privileged. I get to escape and go somewhere. Most Americans aren't so lucky. They're going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them."
In April 2024, a source told the Daily Mail that the couple were leaving America full time for Spain to protect Santiago from the entertainment industry.
"They want to raise their son in a place where he will be surrounded by nature and beauty and not be sucked into the whole Hollywood cycle," the insider said. "They are moving to their home in Spain full time and are both so excited about it. She has had everything that she wanted in Hollywood."
