Esther Cañadas has found love again, according to Italian paparazzo Gabriele Parpiglia, who says the Spanish model is now in a relationship with Italian actor Alessandro Preziosi. Parpiglia, who photographed the couple together, told the magazine Vanitatis that their relationship began in May, brought about by mutual friends.
Caught at a hotel in San Felice Circeo
Parpiglia photographed the pair at the exclusive Hotel Punta Rossa in San Felice Circeo, on Italy's Tyrrhenian coast. According to Parpiglia, the pictures had not previously circulated in Spain, and the couple had worked hard to keep their romance out of view.
Parpiglia said that before they realized a reporter had spotted them on the beach, the couple shared plenty of tenderness and affection. Once they noticed the photographer, he said, they called a hotel manager and asked for the pictures to be deleted. Some images survived and were published. Parpiglia said that after the story ran, actor friends of the couple told him that although the relationship is only a few months old, the two are deeply in love.
Neither confirms nor denies the romance
Neither Cañadas nor Preziosi has commented publicly on the relationship. Both have stayed silent, neither confirming nor denying that their friendship has turned into something more, and have not responded to what others are saying about them.
Parpiglia said Preziosi's anger when he caught the reporter who discovered them was a sign that the actor is protecting his feelings not from the public, but out of love, and is simply asking for privacy. Parpiglia also noted that Preziosi has returned to one of his favorite places, San Felice Circeo, where he has taken all his previous partners, including Delfina Delettrez Fendi, whom he used to visit there regularly.
Cañadas's past relationships
Cañadas is also known for guarding her private life closely, despite having had two high-profile marriages. Her first, to model Mark Vanderloo, ended in 2000. She later married racing pilot Sete Gibernau, and the two were married for a year before divorcing in 2008. More recently, she was linked to architect José Barea, though little more was reported about that relationship before it ended, drawing about as much media attention as it had when it began.
