Eric Dane's youngest daughter, Georgia Geraldine Dane, is set to make her Hollywood acting debut alongside her mother, Rebecca Gayheart, in the upcoming Lifetime film The Ocean Between Them.

According to TV Insider, the 14-year-old will play Ashley, the youngest daughter of Gayheart's character, Joan, in the survival drama directed by Gabriel Correa.

The film, which premieres on September 26, follows Joan as she launches a desperate search for her older daughter Miranda, played by Jessica Lord, after she becomes stranded at sea on a kayak following an unexpected storm.

Production for the movie took place between May and June of this year in the Central American country of Belize.

Middle school graduation
Georgia graduated from middle school on June 6.

The milestone occurred four months after the death of her famous father. The actor died at age 53 from respiratory failure with ALS.
"[You] survived an incredibly difficult year. I am so beyond proud of you," the 55-year-old widow wrote on Instagram.
"Your tenacity, grit and grace has been on full display. Welcome to high school, I have no doubt you're ready. I am so excited for you! Not pictured is your MVP trophy for beach volleyball. Bravo, congratulations and I love you so much!"
Return to acting
The Ocean Between Them marks Gayheart's first acting role since 2019, when she made a cameo as Billie Booth, the late wife of stuntman Cliff Booth, played by Brad Pitt, in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
The Kentucky-born beauty is also starring as Principal Sherwood in Jawbreaker The Musical. The stage production, directed by Matt DiCarlo, runs from September 4 to September 20 at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood, California. Gayheart starred in the original Darren Stein film 27 years ago.
Audiences can also see Gayheart play Deborah Monroe in Spencer King's supernatural thriller Nickels. The film, which hits limited US theaters and premium video on demand on October 2, also stars Odessa A'zion, Tom Arnold and Rob Riggle.
Representatives for Gayheart did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Posthumous memoir
Dane's autobiography, My Book of Days: A Memoir in Moments, is scheduled for release on November 3. The actor was "working on the manuscript right up to" his passing.

The book is available for presale for $32. The Euphoria star's memoir is told through a series of "days" that each illuminate a defining experience or emotional truth, as well as the "future days" that would come after he was gone.
Proceeds from the autobiography are expected to benefit Georgia and Dane's 16-year-old daughter Billie, who works as a model.

Dane and Gayheart were married for 14 years. Their marriage ended in 2018, but she called off their legal separation in 2025.
A GoFundMe page established by "family friends" to "provide stability now and in the future" for the children of the Actor Award winner is still actively receiving donations.

As of Tuesday, the fundraiser had reached $492,093 out of its $500,000 goal. Gayheart, a Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, is listed as the beneficiary of the campaign.
Dane famously got his big break portraying plastic surgeon Mark "McSteamy" Sloan from 2006 to 2012 on the ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy.
