A fun new trailer for the ensemble sequel has been released Book Club: The Next Chapterhero Diana Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergenand Maria Steenburgennext to Andy Garcia, Don Johnson, Craig T. Nelson, Gian Carlo Giannini, Hugh Quarshieand Vincent Riotta.
The film was directed by Bill Holderman in his second feature after the original film, Book clubof 2018. The screenplay was co-written by Holderman and Erin Simms.
Here is the synopsis for the sequel:
The highly anticipated sequel (to the 2018 film Book Club) follows our four best friends (Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, Mary Steenburgen) as they take their book club to Italy for the fun-filled girl trip they haven’t never done. When things go off the rails and secrets are revealed, their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime country adventure.
It looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun, especially for fans of the original movie and/or fans of these great actresses. Book Club: The Next Chapter will hit theaters on May 12, 2023. Check out the trailer below:
