Director Sam Raimi is collaborating with Barbarian executive producer Alex Lebovici of Hammerstone Studios and Christian MercuriCapstone Studios to produce the horror thriller titled Do not move. This is the same production team that is bringing us the next action thriller The boy kills the worldwhat stars Bill Skarsgard.
Do not move centers on a skilled assassin who “injects a grieving woman with a numbing agent. He must therefore run, fight and hide before her body shuts down completely.
Sounds like a rather nightmarish situation! I have no doubt this is going to be a super intense film that will blow the mind of the audience! The film is directed by Adam Schindler and Brian Nettowho recently wrote and directed episodes of Rami’s horror anthology series 50 states of fear.
The film was written by TJ Cimfel and David Whitewho previously worked at the Rory Culkin-led horror-thriller Intrudersalso directed by Schindler.
Lebovici said in a statement, “It is incredibly exciting for us to reunite with genre masters Sam Raimi and Zainab Azizi, who have once again found two extremely talented young directors in Adam and Brian to bring Don’t Move to life. We are honored to be part of such an amazing project.”
Raimi added, “Alex and the team at Hammerstone, as well as our friends at Capstone, are the ideal producing partners as we bring this gripping and twisted story to life. I am delighted to collaborate again with our co-directors Adam and Brian on this incredibly scary and tense story filled with so many twists and turns – it will pack a fantastic horror punch to audiences!
