Even though Warner Bros. Discovery and DC Studios have agreed to continue publishing The Flash, things with Ezra Miller are still far from over. Now the ‘We Need to Talk About Kevin’ actor has pleaded not guilty to all crimes he committed for several months, and now could face a 26-year prison sentence.

According to information from Deadline, Ezra Miller faces 26 years in prison and more than $2,000 in fines, if found guilty of their crimes. These include stealing alcohol from a neighbor’s house, carrying guns and a bulletproof vest in a vehicle, just to name a few. For these reasons he was ordered to stay away from neighbors, with a restraining order.

Isaac Winokur, a neighbor whose home the actor allegedly broke into, ordered an investigation into the case, but Ezra Miller never attended the trial. The ‘The Flash’ actor was released on probation, but with the order not to maintain any type of contact, either in writing, by telephone or through a third party, with the neighbor.

After, Ezra Miller has apologized for his crimesand considering that Warner Bros would have paid the actor’s victims to drop the charges, it is very likely that Miller will see his sentence reduced to less than 26 years behind bars, or, at best, simply have to pay a large amount of money to be able to continue his life in peace.

What will happen to Ezra Miller and ‘The Flash’?

After the cancellation of ‘Batgirl’ on HBO Max, many fans believed that ‘The Flash’ was next. Surprisingly, the film with Ezra Miller went ahead, but not other projects that seemed safe in the company, such as “Black Adam 2”, “Man of Steel 2” and “Wonder Woman 3”. The worst was yet to come, as it was later confirmed that Henry Cavill would never return as Superman.

However, rumors have it that after the events of “The Flash,” Ezra Miller would quit playing Barry Allen in the future of the DC Extended Universe. This would have a reboot of everything that had been built in recent years with the help of Zack Snyder, to become a ground where all the studio’s superheroes would be presented again.

“The Flash” would be so well received in test screenings that even Warners would decide to push the film forward by another week in theaters. Now the Andy Mushietti film starring Ezra Miller will be released in theaters on June 16, 2023, unless WB decides to move it again in the following months.
