Season 4 of ‘Stranger Things’ was a phenomenon that not even Netflix thought would happen again. And all thanks to the fact that the plot has returned to its origins of mystery and terror, according to many fans. Now, for the fifth installment of the show, the creators assure that it will be the most “epic and emotional” story yet, and that more than one will mourn.
Shawn Levy, director of ‘Deadpool 3’ and ‘The Adam Project’, will take care of one of the episodes of the series, and during an interview with Collider, he assured that the Duffer brothers have already done the first reading of the script for the fifth season of ‘stranger things’, and that the assistants wept reading what the creators had in store for the new story on Netflix.
“I know it [los Duffer] They’ve hinted at it publicly before, but as we sat there and listened to this last season’s two-hour story presentation, I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room when the brothers wrapped up,” said Shawn Levy. “So yeah, this one last season [de ‘Stranger Things’] it will be epic and very exciting. I think making it will also be very emotional, as this show changed the lives of everyone who worked on it.”
Levy did not provide further details on the plot, however he assured that everything is ready to start with the recordings of “stranger things’ next year, to be released in 2024, if there is any production delay. The version of the script, which was officially submitted to the editorial team, has been working since last August and should resolve many of the most important plot issues with Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard and the rest of the cast.

“Stranger Things 5” may be released weekly
The director addressed the show’s success during the same interview, saying the formula for big numbers is to keep fans engaged with a show from start to finish. This strategy is why many Netflix titles have been canceled, even though a recent report from Variety assured that the platform may change its method of release.
In the report, Netflix’s director of content assured that they are considering the weekly release of series such as the fifth season of “Stranger Things” or new episodes of “The Sandman”, two of their most successful titles of 2022. But as yet, it hasn’t been confirmed that this will be the case, so we’ll have to wait for the official announcement.
For his part, Shawn Levy will now only direct one episode of the fifth season of “Stranger Things,” as he usually deals with two chapters for each installment. Now that the production of ‘Deadpool 3’ is very close, the Netflix series will have to hurry to arrive without delays.
