Over the past 25 years, Titanic Fans have wondered whether or not Jack might enter the floating harbor with Rose in the middle of the ocean after the ship sank. “I don’t know. That’s the answer. I don’t know,” Kate said. “One thing I can tell you. If you put two adults on a stand up paddle board, it becomes instantly unstable. In fact, I don’t think we would have survived if we had walked through that door. It wouldn’t have been a sustainable idea.”

The Oscar winner has given a definitive answer, noting that now everyone has “heard here for the first time” her take on the film Titanic door discussion. “Yes, she could walk through that door, but she wouldn’t have floated,” Kate said.
