WESTWORLD & THE NEVERS Pulled From HBO Max, With Last Series Coming To Formal End

HBO has announced that their Warner Bros. dramas Discovery Western world And The Nevers are being pulled from HBO Max. The news comes as the HBO Max slate underwent its year-end financial review by WBD, leading to a number of cuts, including other series such as Lionsgate TV Minx And Love life and Sony televisions Gordita Chronicles.

The removal of Western world comes as a surprise as it remains a popular series for the streamer and the fourth season only released last summer, leaving fans with little time to catch up with HBO. But, as Deadline reports, WBD CEO David Zaslav has spoken about his plan to enter the burgeoning FAST channel space, so Western world And The Nevers it would likely be offered in that form.

This marks the formal cancellation for the Joss Whedon-created The Nevers, whose six-episode Season 1A aired in 2021, with the second part of the season still to be scheduled. Now it’s going to end up in the show’s new home, whatever that is. The storyline is being crafted to conclude with Season 1B, the sources said.

Are you sad that any of these shows are leaving HBO Max?
