SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE Concept Art introduces fans to a few more Spider-People

The fantastic new trailer of Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse dropped yesterday, and it was totally epic! It was as visually stunning as the first film, and so emotionally charged, I know we have an incredible story ahead. One of the coolest parts of the trailer was all the Spider-People we saw! It was previously reported that the film includes 240 characters and will take place in six different universes. So what we’ve seen in the trailer are just our first taste of what’s to come.

We now have some concept art to share with you that gives you a good look at some of these characters. The first is Hobie Brown, aka Spider-Punk, who will be voiced by the Oscar winner Daniel Kaluya (Go out, Judas and the Black Messiah). Take a look at him:

The next artwork features Pavitr Prabhakar aka Spider-Man India. We don’t yet know who is voicing this character, but he looks great:

Returning character Peter B. Parker, voiced by Jake Johnson, wears a baby carrier in the trailer and that baby is none other than Mayday. In the comics, Mayday, aka May Parker, grows up to be a Spider-Woman. For now, she’s a pretty nice addition to the story.

Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse will be released on June 2, 2023. The third installment, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verseit is already dated March 29, 2024.
