New trailer for Brendan Fraser’s heartbreaking film THE WHALE

We have a new trailer here for you to watch Brendan Fraserthe new movie The whalewhich was directed by Darren Aronofsky. I recently saw the film and was absolutely blown away by Fraser’s performance. He was absolutely incredible and will most likely win all the Best Actor awards in the upcoming awards season. Now I understand why he got a six minute standing ovation at the Cannes film festival for this film.

This is a heartbreaking film that tells the story of a lonely English teacher who suffers from severe obesity. The six hundred pound recluse hides away from the world and slowly eats himself to death. He is given one last chance at redemption as he attempts to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter.

Based on Samuel D. CacciatoreThe critically acclaimed 2012 play of the same name also stars Stranger things star Sadie Sink, Hong Chau, Samantha Morton (The walking dead) And Ty Simkins (Insidious, Iron Man 3).

Speaking about the character he plays, Fraser said the role was an opportunity to “go into another man’s physical being and tell the rich story of the inner life he brings.
