Viz Media’s official YouTube channel recently released a video featuring protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki summarizing the first story arc of the popular anime Bleach.
In just 150 seconds it manages to do a great job of summing up the events of the Substitute Shinigami storyline and it definitely reminded me of things I had forgotten. Bleach it was one of the first anime I really got into, and despite some less than stellar filler arcs, it has remained one of my favorite series. Now that the story of 1000 Year Blood War has begun, however, I find myself increasingly trying to remember all the details of some characters.
This summary was helpful for me to remember some of the very first events and character encounters that took place back then. I hope they continue to do this for all the main stories to help save me time remembering all the events leading up to this final epic story. There are definitely a lot of details I’ve forgotten that I really need a refresher on, but I don’t have the time to go back and re-watch or read everything.
