Nintendo recently launched the third wave of DLC courses for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and it came with a surprise for the runners. With the 2.2 update, you can now customize which items to activate and deactivate in select races. Of course you can activate them all, deactivate them all or even randomize things, but you can also get rid of silly items like coins or just let chaos ensue with blue shells activated!
Also, if you enjoy participating in team races and battles, you can assign items to each team to really spice things up. For example, maybe the mushrooms are exclusive to the red team, but the star is exclusive to the blue team. We’re sure to see some gameplay this holiday season as families gather to enjoy trolling each other with items. What are the equipment of the custom items you plan to use?
