Kirstie Alley died at the age of 71 after a battle with cancer. I actually reviewed Greetings lately and this is easily one of my favorite things that Alley was a part of. But she has also starred in film projects such as Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, look who’s talkingAnd Village of the Damnedalong with shows like The Goldbergs, Scream Queens, The Middleand more.
Alley’s family released a statement saying, “We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce and loving mother passed away after an only recently discovered battle with cancer.”
She was “surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with the assurance of her infinite joie de vivre and whatever adventure awaited her.”
I enjoyed Alley’s work and it’s sad to hear that she passed away. Our condolences go out to all of her family and friends.
