One of my most anticipated movies of 2023 is John Wick: Chapter 4the movie looks pretty awesome and will be a blast to watch Keanu Reeves Get back into the action and kick some ass as John Wick! Reeves continues to promote the sequel in a big way, calling it the “hardest” film he’s ever made!
During a recent interview with Brazilian outlet Omelete at CCXP 2022, also known as Brazil Comic-Con, Reeves said:
“John Wick 4 is the hardest movie I’ve ever made. In terms of action, it’s the hardest movie I’ve ever made. But that’s what makes it good.”
During the panel, Reeves also said, “There are a lot of people who are coming after that [Wick]and there [are] a lot of different kinds of scenes that are fun for the action.” The Matrix the actor then teased an action sequence revolving around the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, describing it as “a fight scene in traffic.” He went on to say:
“The table is this world above the world; and the people, the killers, under the table are as boundless as the grains of sand on the beach. [are] a lot of people come after John Wick. But really, for the John Wick movie[s], it’s really just the invention of the scene, right? How can you do these scenes?”
The next John Wick movie will take fans on another wild ride, and I can’t wait to see how tough it will be in terms of action! The latest trailer that was released was full of brutal action packed mayhem and saw John Wick get himself into all kinds of crazy situations and face a ridiculous amount of assassins who will try to kill him. But they will all fail.
When previously talking about the film, director Chad Stahelski he previously teased what we can expect from the next John Wick story by saying:
“If you took The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, crossed it with Zatoichi, and put a Greek myth on it, you’d probably get something like this. And who else the fuck says those kinds of lines? Now you know why I like doing John Wicks.
John Wick: Chapter 4 features a cast that also includes Donnie Extravagant Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Ian McShane, And Bill Skarsgard as the sinister main villain.
The film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 27, 2023. I’ve also included a new poster for the film below.
