With the recent ‘Bones and All’ by Luca Guadagnino with Timothée Chalamet, the theme of those horror films about cannibals reappears which, at times, can be so brutal that they make anyone hungry for several days in a row. So if you’re not into strong emotions, or would rather not go vegan anytime soon, you might want to steer clear of these stocks.

As we have already mentioned, ‘Bones and All’ is a horror movie that can take away your hunger for several days. Directed by Luca Guadagnino, the same author of ‘Call me by your name’, which repeats with Timothée Chalamet, this time in a romantic adventure between a girl and a young homeless man who together begin a journey through the streets of the United States . The silence of the lambs

What more cannibal figure in horror films than Dr. Hannibal Lecter, star of one of horror movie about cannibals most popular, “The Silence of the Lambs”. Directed by Jonathan Demme in 1991, the story follows the agent Clarice Starling, who enlists the help of the murderer and the psychiatrist to help her catch another criminal. A little more modern we have a ‘Raw’, a cannibal horror film by director Julia Ducournau, with Garance Marillier, in the role of Justine, a vegetarian girl accepted in a veterinary school. green hell

Directed by Eli Roth, responsible for “Hostel” or “Cabin Fever”, we have “Green Inferno”, one of the most famous horror films. It’s about a girl named Justine and other colleagues who travel to the Amazon to document and learn about environmentalism from the people who live there. But their plane crashes and they are kidnapped by a tribe who love to eat human flesh.

Cannibal holocaust

With almost the same plot as the previous one, but this one was the first to do so, also, one of the forerunners of found-footage cinema, we have ‘Cannibal Holocaust’. Directed by Ruggero Deodato in 1980, the story follows a group of directors who want to document an Amazonian tribe, but discover their cruel customs that have been going on for many years.

Fresh

Finally we have Mimi Cave’s horror film, starring Sebastian Stan and Daisy and Edgar Jones, “Fresh”. The story follows Noa, a girl who meets Steve through a dating app. Everything seemed completely normal, until the boy reveals her true hobbies, and the cravings for her that she will now have to escape from.
