LOST BUT NOT FORGOTTEN is a D&D adventure to potentially revive fallen party members

Lost But Not Forgotten – Ashes of the Phoenix: Episode I it is a new, unofficial Dungeons & Dragons supplement from Ammon Hansen. The supplement is part of Trials of God collected and provides a new potential way to bring a dead party member back to life. Phoenix Ashes is a new series in Trials of God this will provide various adventures and quests that an adventuring party could use in hopes of reviving a fallen ally. Additionally, the player for the dead character is able to temporarily take control of an NPC goblin creature so they can still have fun with the party. Seems like a potentially fun way to work with death in a D&D campaign and is designed to be easily adapted to parties of any level.

Upon the death (or worse, erasure from existence) of a party member, the surviving members begin to have visions as an ancient artifact begins calling to them. Heeding the call, the group find themselves taken to the Frost Lake Monastery, where several powerful artifacts are guarded.

By gaining permission to use the item (under certain conditions implying a future research thread), the party can venture into the chambers below Frost Lake. As they face traps, trials, challenges, and new monsters, they’ll face one big question:

What are you willing to give up to save your friend?

You can buy Lost but not forgotten (affiliate link) from DMs Guild for $2.95.
