Jill Bearup he makes many different types of youtube videos analyzing fight scenes in film, armor and other topics related to stage combat. As someone trained in stage combat, he adds a different perspective than the typical movie-goer. I really like all of his videos, but his armor tier lists are always my favorite.
For the unfamiliar, the charts are ‘I’d Wear It’, ‘Pretty Good’, ‘Not Actually Armor’, ‘Could Be Worse’ and ‘Stab Me Now’. This episode traces Malenia the Severed from Elden ringcharacters from The Dragon Princea World of Warcraft cinematic, Power Rangersand Geneva since 2004 King Arthur movie. I really like how it recognizes that while certain choices are clearly for aesthetics, they’re still silly armor decisions.
These videos are very entertaining and I highly recommend searching the rest of his channel to find more. There are a lot of really common armor bad decisions that I never noticed or thought about before watching these videos. Check it out and let me know what you think.
