Crime and detective movies you will not be able to solve until the end

There are always predictable stories, i.e. plots from which you can guess what’s going to happen. And while that’s not necessarily a bad thing, it’s better when they keep everything a secret until the very end. And the same goes for these detective and crime films, films that promise a solution, they give you some clue, but you have to stick to the end credits to figure out what happened.

A master at this detective films that have no resolution until the end, is Denis Villeneuve, a Canadian director who in 2013 released ‘Prisoners’, a crime thriller starring Jake Gyellenhall and Hugh Jackman.
