Check out these LORD OF THE RINGS Christmas sweaters

With the holiday season upon us, you can show off yours Lord of the Rings fandom at all the parties you attend with these Lord of the Rings– power-inspired Christmas sweaters! There are four sweaters to choose from and they’re from Fun.com, and don’t worry, they’re not too ugly.

The jumpers feature Gandalf facing the Balrog, Eye of Sauron, Treebeard carrying Merry and Pippin and Gollum with his precious. Each sweater costs $49.99 and comes in sizes XS to 3X.

You can check out the sweaters below, and each one has a fun little description:

Merry Mines of Moria

Knowing what we know about the home of Gimli’s cousin, it (perhaps) makes no sense to call the Mines of Moria cheerful. They’re underground, featuring nothing but gray stone decorations, steep stairways, and even the occasional skeletal remains. This doesn’t really scream holiday spirit, unless we’re talking about Halloween. Then again, we have to ask, does the Balrog help brighten somber moods? That towering fire demon should easily be able to shed some light, heat, and (heck) even some cheer with that ancient presence of theirs. And, if so, inviting the Balrog to celebrate the winter holidays doesn’t sound like a bad idea! In fact, it makes us feel absolutely delighted to have Moria’s hottest resident on every vacation guest list!

Boromir was right

What awaits hobbit adventurers within Mordor? We see. Orcs? Check. Evil that does not sleep. Check. An always attentive eye. Oh yeah, you better believe it’s waiting for you there. Fire, ash and dust. Check, check and double check. Not exactly the kind of place anyone would want to visit. As Boromir said, you don’t just enter Mordor, you can just put on this ugly Lord of the Rings sweater, which is inspired by the forbidding landscape of the Forsaken Land! It’s one of our many exclusive Ugly Sweaters and captures Mordor perfectly in sweater form!

Well worth the wait

As Treebeard would say, nothing is worth saying unless it’s worth spending a long time saying. Without intending (we assume) the doctrine to have been adopted by the majority of Lord of the Rings fans. Perhaps it has something to do with how much the wealth of JRR Tolkien’s Middle-earth has grown. Or maybe it’s simply because as “the oldest living thing still walking under the sun,” what Treebeard says is the truth.

Either way, we’d like to offer fans an alternative way to discuss their great love for all things Middle-earth. Something that provides an opportunity to talk at length about the intricacies and timelines and movers and shakers while eliminating the need to say a lot. We think it could also be the fix that fans and their peers have been waiting for a long time.

Loop sweater

We all have those things that are special to us. Humans are so diverse and unique, those things could literally be anything. From a teddy bear to a spoon, if we value something, we take it seriously enough. We all remember how we reacted when Mom threw out that crappy blanket she never washes or that shirt with holes in it. Parents sometimes don’t understand.

Well, we have something else you can add to your treasured list. Our designers took it literally and took a coda from Lord of the Rings, especially Sméagol. If the hit series is essential to you, plus you need an officially licensed jumper, check out this My Precious Gollum Lord of the Rings jumper for adults.
