EXCLUSIVE: The Thanksgiving holiday packages keep rolling in as Deadline learns of Keke Palmer’s commitment to the action comedy moxie with Bert on board to direct. Heather Quinn wrote the script and Palmer, Peter Lawson and Kate Churchill produced. The bundle was launched this week and has already attracted interest from several studios and streamers.
The film is about a sassy strip dancer who upsets the FBI when she somehow becomes the front for their flashy new spy program.
Palmer leaves her scene-stealing role in the popular Jordan Peele picture no, which debuted earlier this year and earned $171 million at the box office. She also voiced Izzy Hawthorne on Pixar’s light year
Bert recently directed a handful of episodes of the popular Marvel series hawk eye Before that, she also directed the picture of Viola Davis troop zero
Quinn also cooperated hawk eye and also wrote the Marvel Halloween special Werewolf in the night.
Palmer is represented by 3 Arts Entertainment, Bert is represented by Verve, and Quinn is represented by Curate.
