Henry Cavill he was amazing playing Sherlock Holmes in the Enola Holmes franchise. He fits the role so well and fans seem to like the way he brought this iconic character to life.
Many fans wondered if Cavill would get his own Sherlock Holmes solo movie, and there was a post-credits scene in Enola Holmes 2 this made fans think that this could be the case and the rumors started.
In the post-credits scenes (Spoiler Alert) we see Sherlock Holmes and John Watson meet for the first time. It was a good moment and really raised the buzz for a potential solo film. But, according to Cavill, that’s not where everything is heading. He drove home the fact that this world of Enola Holmes is still very much about Enola. He said:
“This universe is very Enola, so she will always be involved. I think it’s important to establish a connection between the two characters.”
Cavill went on to say so Millie Bobby BrownEnola’s character is central to the story, and that’s what makes the entire franchise unique:
“It wasn’t a deliberate attempt to make it mine. I think living in the Enola universe, in all literature and all other mediums, I don’t have an Enola. He has a Watson, but it’s very different from having an Enola. There’s a strong emotional connection to Enola there, there’s a similarity in how they’ve grown up. It allows for a slightly different point of view. When it comes to Enola, there’s always this emotionality with the connection, which is otherwise unique to the Enola universe.”
Does this make sense. These movies have given us a very different take on this whole world with Enola, but Cavill’s involvement as Holmes is definitely the icing on the cake. Fans love him in the role. It will be fun to see how this story continues, especially now that Watson is making his big debut!
In Enola houses 2, “Fresh off the triumph of solving her first case, Enola Holmes follows in the footsteps of her famous brother, Sherlock, and opens her own agency, only to discover that life as a female detective for hire isn’t as easy as it seems,” it says. reads in the synopsis. “Resigned to accepting the cold reality of adulthood, she is about to close shop when a penniless matchstick girl offers Enola her first official job: finding her missing sister. But this case turns out to be far more puzzling than expected, as Enola is thrown into a dangerous new world: from the sinister factories and colorful music halls of London, to the highest echelons of society and 221B Baker Street itself. As sparks ignite a deadly conspiracy, Enola must enlist the help of her friends-and Sherlock himself-to unravel her mystery. The game, it seems, has found her feet again!”
The sequel featured the return of Millie Bobby Brown as the titular teenage detective, Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Louis Partridge like Tewkesbury, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, e Susan Wokoma like Edith, David Thewlis (Wonder Woman), Adeel Akhtar (Sweetness), Sharon Duncan Brewster (Dune), Abbie Hern (The twilight zone), Hanna Dodd (Arguing with my family), Gabriel Tierne (Attempt), And Beatitude of Serrana Su-Ling.
