‘The Protected: DNA’ launches its trailer and confirms the release date

More than 10 years ago, “Los protegidos” premiered, one of the Spanish series that collected the best numbers during its broadcast between 2010 and 2012. Three seasons and almost 10 years later, in 2021 it was presented premiered a spin-off titled ‘Los Protegidos’ : The Return’, of which it had already been confirmed that it would have a sequel: ‘The Protégé: DNA’. The new adventure of this sci-fi and fantasy saga will premiere on December 18 in ATRESplayer Premium and already has an official trailer:

After the good reception by the public of “Los Protegidos: El regreso”, people will be able to continue enjoying the Protected universe on the Atresmedia payment platform. “The Protected: DNA” will feature both new and veterans. Reprise their characters for this new story Antonio Garrido, Ana Fernández, Luis Fernández, Mario Marzo, Daniel Avilés, Gracia Olayo, Óscar Ladoire, Maggie García, Carlotta Cosials, Cosette Silguero and Javier Mendo. In addition, there are artists from the original series who did not return for “El regreso” who returned this time for “Los Protegidos: ADN”, such as Marta Torné (Julia), Esmeralda Moya (Claudia) and Raúl Mérida (Leo). As new additions for the new installment we find Emilio Buale, Irina Bravo, Gabriela Andrada, Raquel Pérez, José Sospedra, Ángel Martínez, Xavi Caudevilla and Anna Nacher.

At the command of the direction of the project are Pablo Guerrero (‘El secreto de Puente Viejo’) and Daniel Romero (‘Don’t look there’), while Carlos García Miranda (‘Los protegidos’, ‘El internado’) and Luis Gamboa (‘Las Bravas’) are in charge of the screenplay. ‘The Protected: ADN’ is produced by Atresmedia Televisión in collaboration with Buendía Estudios and Boomerang TV. Outside of Spain, the series can be viewed through the international version of ATRESplayer Premium and the international Atreseries channel.
