“Elite” returns to Netflix November 18 with one of the biggest cast renewals in its history. With all the originals already out of Las Encinas, the series by Carlos Montero and Jaime Vaca brings us a new generation of students. One of them is Ana Bokesa, who we have seen in the episodes of “La que se avecina” and “Amar es para siempre”, among others.. She plays Rocío, a girl who has no problem becoming a leader and spokesperson against injustice. And she in Las Encinas she has a few to fight against.
In this season preview that we offer you exclusively, we also see Adam Nourou, who returns as Bilal. We met his character in the previous season. This young immigrant has become Omar’s (Omar Ayuso) lost cause, even though he has let him down on more than one occasion (more out of necessity than anything else). In the sixth season we find him reformed and very concerned about doing his job well in Isadora’s (Valentina Zenere) new nightclub. Will he be able to escape from bad influences to avoid getting into trouble again? “People will understand who Bilal is. In the previous season you don’t see him much, and when he does he just goes out stealing things. This season people will understand what is in Bilal’s head and what is his dream and path.” the Goya Award-winning actor for ‘Adú’ teased us in our recent chat with him.
The roots
In this scene, Rocío introduces herself to Bilal calling him “brother”to which he reacts with a certain rejection. “African brothers! Africa!” Rocío replies, to which Bilal tells her that, for him, the only way to be African is to be born there, like him. “Let’s bring up the question of roots, and how and what everyone feels. I think it’s important because it also happens on the street. It’s still a fiction, but these are themes that affect me too, like Ana Bokesa” The actress told us about this scene in the interview we had with her.

The sixth season of “Elite” stars Manu Ríos, Carla Díaz, Martina Cariddi, André Lamoglia, Valentina Zenere, Adam Nourou, Ander Puig, Ana Bokesa, Carmen Arrufat, Alex Pastrana and Álvaro de Juana. All chapters will be available on Friday 18 November.
