

OR Black Panther: Wakanda forever The credits scene begins with Shuri traveling to Haiti to visit Nakia. Shuri finally gets a chance to mourn the loss of his mother and her brother. After battling Namor and her own pain, Shuri has a moment to breathe.

Shuri is at the beach when Nakia approaches her with a baby. Nakia introduces him to Toussaint, played by the adorable newcomer Divine Love Konadu-Sun🇧🇷 “This is my son,” Nakia tells Shuri. “This is your aunt, Shuri.”
That’s when it hits Shuri. This is the son of T’Challa. Your brother’s blood. His family. Nakia explains that she and T’Challa agreed it was best to raise their son in Haiti “away from the pressures” of the kingdom. Nakia tells Shuri that T’Challa didn’t want them to come to his funeral, but that they were prepared for his death.
Ramonda knew Toussaint and had the opportunity to meet him before he died. This is what Ramonda was trying to tell Shuri before Namor showed up and changed her world.
Shuri shares a heartfelt moment with his grandson, high-fiving him. So Toussaint says something that proves that he really is his father’s son. “My name is Prince T’Challa. King T’Challa’s son, ”he tells Shuri.

In the Marvel comics, T’Challa has a son, but not with Nakia. She has a son with Storm named Azari T’Challa. Black Panther: Wakanda forever seems to move away from the comics and take a new direction with this story.
Shuri takes on the role of the new Black Panther and will return in future MCU projects, Marvel confirmed in the credits. Black Panther: Wakanda forever marks the end of Phase Four of the MCU.
