Shazam! it’s the only DC movie I’ve seen and enjoyed in the last few years, so I was thrilled Shazam! Fury of the gods. It looks like the sequel has finished production, as a director David F. Sandberg made the announcement on Twitter complete with a picture of the film on a monitor. In the photo, we see Zaccaria Levi as the superhero Shazam and a lightning bolt behind him in a dark area that looks like a sports stadium of some kind and holding the magician’s cane. It looks like it could be a major breakthrough in the film and I’m thrilled with that.
The film “continues the story of the teenager Billy Batson, who after reciting the magic word ‘SHAZAM!’ he is struck by the living lightning of the gods and transformed into his adult superhero alter ego, Shazam. He has the powers of six gods: the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the endurance of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles and the speed of Mercury.
