Mad Mikkelsen is set to star in a new film project titled Dust rabbitand will be written and directed by Bryan Fuller. The two worked together on the hit series Hannibal and it will be great to see them create a new project together, especially with the story they are trying to tell!
The story follows an “eight-year-old girl who enlisted the help of her scheming neighbor in killing the monster under her bed that she believes ate her family.” It sounds like a great story, and this is going to be a great role for Mikkelsen! I love that she’ll help kill a monster residing under a girl’s bed!
Entertainment One and Thunder Road will co-produce with Fuller who will produce alongside Thunder Road Basil Iwanyk And Erica Lee. Lee said in a statement, “We have been huge Bryan fans for years. Dust rabbit he’s incredibly imaginative and unlike anything else on the market and we’re thrilled to help bring his first feature to life. “

Production will begin in January 2023 and the film will mark Fuller’s directorial debut.
