I have a trailer here for a new documentary film titled Vertical freedom, and focuses on those who earn their living by climbing towers. It sounds like a fascinating documentary that will be packed with details about a profession I don’t know much about and the people behind it.
The film is from director Doug Lee and “highlights six different tower climbers who overcome personal struggle and daily peril to do extraordinary work at very high levels to connect us all. It chronicles the triumphs, challenges and tragedies of tower climbers Robert Gallegos, Sean Gilhooley, Andrew Lealofi, Ky Nguyen, Kelsey Olson and Angelo Wiggins as they cross the country and work at extreme altitudes to enable connectivity, including breathtaking aerial footage of some of the most difficult to reach communication towers in the United States ”.
Gravitas will distribute the film digitally and via VOD cable starting November 1, 2022.
