
Yu-Gi-Oh! Creator Kazuki Takahashi she tragically died while trying to save a woman, her 11-year-old daughter and an American soldier from drowning. This happened on July 4th and details of her death are now being revealed.
Major Robert Bourgeau, 49, told the Stars and Stripes military newspaper that Takahashi tried to help save those caught in the tide when he drowned. A spokesman for the Japanese Coast Guard added that Takahashi’s body was recovered 300 meters off the coast of Awa, Nago.
Bourgeau also intervened and managed to save the mother and child. As for the other soldier in the water, Bourgeau was able to help the soldier by shouting instructions on how to get out of the current and reach shallow water.
It looks like it was a pretty scary ordeal and it’s sad to know that Takahashi wasn’t able to get out of it alive. But he is a hero. Bourgeau said: “He is a hero. He died trying to save someone else”.
Takahashi was an incredibly talented individual and he brought so much joy and fun to so many people. He left an incredible legacy and will always be remembered as a hero.
