Asmodee recently announced the third set for the My Hero Academia CCG titled Clash of Heroes. This new set will bring with it a new rarity for the game: Chrome Rare. In Clash of Heroes, there will be five character cards with alternate illustrations in this rarity that has a metallic-inspired double-layer film. It actually looks pretty cool with a brushed metal feel to the backgrounds. The tricky part is that there will be a limited print of 100 for each of these five cards with a unique serial number printed on the bottom of each. That’s right, Chrome Rares will be press exclusive to the first edition of Clash of Heroes. Personally I’m not a fan of practices like this, but what do you think?

Fans will be able to buy Clash of Heroes during an international pre-release on October 14th and after the full release on October 21st.
