
Marvel has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette of the highly anticipated big movie Black Panther: Wakanda forever. It’s titled “Return To Wakanda” and features cast and crew discussing the film and how it honors the late Chadwick Boseman. They pay tribute to Boseman and discuss his influence on the franchise.
Angela Bassett says, “The audience embraced Wakanda and Black Panther. And Chadwick knew exactly what this story meant, what these images meant to the world.” Winston Duke added: “We all suffered an incredible loss when we lost Chadwick.”
Director Ryan Coggler added, “Chad was our artistic partner. I spent time with him, just me and him, talking about where we would like to see the story, how much he admired the other characters and the actors who played them.”
The featurette also offers some information on Tenoch Huerta’s Namor, and we have a new image of him to share with you below. I was looking forward to seeing this character introduced to the MCU, and it looks like the movie is having some fun with him, especially with those ankle wings!
The film will see Chadwick BosemanT’Challa is killed within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and someone else takes on the role of Black Panther.
The film is also the protagonist Danai Gurira, Letizia Wright, Daniel Kaluya, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence KasumbaAnd Martin Freeman. The film is scheduled for release on November 11, 2022.
