Listen to the new DAUNTLESS soundtrack on Apple Music and Spotify Now

Phoenix Labs recently announced the release of Intrepid, vol. 3 (Original game soundtrack). Intrepid is a fun and popular massively multiplayer action RPG (MMARPG) in which players work together to hunt down Behemoths. It is quite fun if you are looking for a new online game. The music for the score was composed by Cris Velasco and the new soundtrack includes the new main theme song, “I Am Dauntless”, which includes songs recorded by members of the Intrepid community which is really interesting. Speaking of incorporating the community into the soundtrack and music in general, Velasco shared:

We wanted the theme to be highly melodic and memorable. With over 30 million players worldwide, it was also a great opportunity to use the Dauntless community as an element. We asked them to lend their literal voice in the recording of the new main theme. It was so much fun to see the enthusiasm and passion in all of the applications. Everyone who sang the new song is included in the recording. This is now the new Dauntless sound.

We recorded a 100 piece orchestra and choir and dedicated ourselves to the action packed adventure, keeping the old melody but using it in different ways that really bring a sense of excitement to it. The goal is to pump yourself up before you go hunting.
