IRON GIANT director Brad Bird made a contribution on Marvel’s WEREWOLF BY NIGHT

Brad Birdthe director of The Iron Giant And The incredibles offers some input on Marvel’s fantastic looking horror special Werewolf at night. It turns out that there was one thing that the director Michele Giacchino he was trying to get into the movie and Bird gave him exactly what he was looking for.

Giacchino explained in a recent interview with CB: “Brad came to watch it for me and had some nice thoughts. And there was one fundamental thing I was looking for that I couldn’t decipher. It was a specific line of dialogue I wanted to do. in a specific way. And we just couldn’t figure it out. And I asked Brad, I was like, “Brad, what do you think?” And immediately he said, ‘Oh, do it like this.’ And I was like, ‘Sure’. “

Giacchino didn’t reveal the specific scene Bird helped with, which means the director has to preserve the story or a big surprise. But, one day after the series is released, I’m sure the information will be revealed.

Even though Bird didn’t have a heavy hand in the series, it’s still nice that he helped with something. I’m just a huge Bird fan and he doesn’t do enough these days!

The director went on to talk about the visual effects of the film and how he wants to make them as practical as possible. He said, “Wherever we could do practical effects with the camera, we did. And I’d say there’s a lot of them in there that you never even knew.”

One sequence, in particular, is said to contain an impressive shot focusing on the transformation of the werewolf. Damn, can’t wait to see it!

The project is a throwback to the black and white horror films of the 1930s and 1940s. The story centers on a group of unusual suspects gathered on a disturbing night, and one of them is the werewolf at night. They find themselves in a position where they are forced to stay alive as the end of the night approaches.

Gael Garcia Bernal plays Jack Russell, aka Werewolf by Night, and is joined by him Laura Donnelly And Harriet Sansom Harris. It will premiere on Disney Plus on October 7th.
