20th Century Studios has released an IMAX clip and poster for the director David O. Russellis coming movie, Amsterdam. I’ve actually already had the opportunity to see the film, and while I can’t post a review yet, I’ll tell you it’s a great, fun film that audiences will love. I loved it!
The clip below is just a small taste of what this movie has to offer. It features Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Anya Taylor JoyAnd Rami Malekand gives you a good sense of tone and humor.
Amsterdam is set in the 1930s and “follows a trio of friends who witness a murder and become suspects themselves as they try to figure out what is really going on.” It is described as “a fascinating and richly intricate tale that brilliantly intertwines historical facts and fiction.” Bale and Washington portray two soldiers, while Robbie plays a nurse, and find themselves at the center of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history.
This next film of his has assembled an impressive cast that he also includes Chris Rock, Robert De Niro, Zoe Saldana, Mike Myers, Timoteo Olifante, Michael Shannon, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts, Alessandro NivolaAnd Taylor Swift.
The film hits theaters on October 7th!
