The Massive-Verse expands this December with the RADIANT PINK miniseries

Radiant Pink will have its own miniseries! The miniseries in 5 issues, Radiant pinkcomes from streamer Meghan Camarena (Radiant black), writer Melissa Flores (The lucky dead), and artist Emma Kubert (Ink blot) and follows Eva, the Radiant Pink who teleports herself, in a new solo adventure. This Massive-Verse expansion will be available from Image Comics this December and I’m thrilled!

In Radiant Pink, life is good for Eva. Ever since teleport superhero Radiant Pink (her secret alter ego) started guesting on her streams, her viewership has skyrocketed and fame and fortune are definitely behind her. But when a charity apparition is interrupted by a team of mercenaries looking for the Radiant to power her, Eva will find herself a long way out of her comfort zone.

Speaking of writing the miniseries, Flores told Popverse:

I’m spending the time of my life writing Radiant Pink with Meghan. I can’t wait for readers to immerse themselves in this insanely funny story that stays true to the spirit of Radiant Black, while offering plenty of heart and a deeper look at complex issues. Together with Emma Kubert’s stunning art, this will be an amazing new adventure!

Kubert added:

With the action packed story and wonderful direction of Meghan and Melissa, I’m having fun creating the thrilling images of Radiant Pink. It is an absolute thrill to follow Eva on this emotional roller coaster and really see all the different sides of this fantastic and fun-loving character.

Expressing his excitement about the project, Camarena shared:

WHO MADE ME DO THIS? Oh yes thanks Kyle! Radiant Pink is a story of self-love, growth and a little more chaos. I share with you a chapter of a very vulnerable part of my life, told through Eva. Melissa Flores is bringing the heartache and Emma Kubert is bringing the spark!

Kyle Higginsthe creator of Radiant black who started the Massive-Verse said:

It was a lot of fun to build the Radiant Black side of the Massive-Verse and part of that includes the opportunity to bring in Meghan, Melissa, Emma, Rebecca and Becca to help us explore a very different side of the “superhero”. Similar to what Cherish, David and Miquel did with Satomi’s story in Radiant Red, Meghan and Melissa are sending Eve to rather unexpected places. I can’t wait for people to get to know her better.

I am very excited to read this series. The Massive-Verse is so funny and amazing. If you haven’t read it, I recommend it wholeheartedly. You can grab Radiant pink # 1 on December 7th from your local comic store or on various digital platforms. The main cover is by Kubert with variations available from Tom Balen And Kelly McMahon.
