Amazon Studios is officially moving forward Blade Runner 2099, a live-action series set in the Blade Runner universe. The project has been reprized in series and will arrive on Prime Video.
Blade Runner director Ridley Scott is the executive production of the series, which is the director’s sequel Denis Villeneuvethe sequel to the feature film Blade Runner 2049. It is exciting to learn that we will get a completely new one Blade Runner history!
We don’t know much about the neo-noir story, but judging by the title we know it will be set 50 years later Blade Runner 2049.

We are honored to be able to present this continuation of the Blade Runner franchise, and I am confident that by partnering with Ridley, Alcon Entertainment, Scott Free Productions and the extraordinarily talented Silka Luisa, Blade Runner 2099 it will support the intellect, themes and spirit of its cinematic predecessors. “
