Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Amina NievesAnd Julia Schlaepfer they all joined the cast of Taylor Sheridanis coming Yellowstone prequel series 1923.
They join previously announced Harrison Ford And Ellen Mirren. Ford will play Jacob Dutton, the head of the Yellowstone ranch and brother of James Dutton. Mirren will play Cara Dutton, Jacob’s wife.
The show will focus on “two successive generations of the Dutton family as they struggle to survive historical drought, lawlessness and prohibition, and an epidemic of cattle theft; they all fought under the cloud of Montana’s Great Depression, which preceded the nation by nearly a decade. The show will also touch the end of the First World War, which took place in 1918 “.
As for who will play the other cast members, Mann will play the role of Jack Dutton, son of John Dutton Sr. and great-grandson of Jacob Dutton. He is described as “a devoted breeder who is deeply loyal to his family”.
Randolph will play Elizabeth Strafford, an “exuberant and capable young woman destined to marry into the Dutton family”. Dale (“Hightown”) will play John Dutton Sr., Jacob Dutton’s eldest grandson and right-hand man.
Shelton will play Emma Dutton, John Dutton Sr.’s respectful wife and Jack Dutton’s mother. Geraghty will play Zane, a “fiercely loyal” ranch foreman. Nieves will play Teonna Rainwater, a young woman in a government residential boarding school. Schlaepfer will play Alexandra, a British woman who meets one of the Duttons overseas.
Production of the series is already underway in Montana, and this is a series project I can’t wait to see! I have no doubt it will be great!
