Anna Kendrick (Pitch perfect, Up in the air) is making his directorial debut with the detective thriller The dating game. She will also produce and star in the film, which is based on a screenplay by Black List’s Ian MacAllister McDonald. It seems meant to be. The support I have already received from Stuart Ford and everyone at AGC, Vertigo and BoulderLight has been a source of inspiration and empowerment. “
The film is currently in pre-production with principal photography scheduled for late October. An additional casting is in progress. I’m excited to see what Kendrick will do with this project, both as an actress and as a new director. She is so talented and I can’t wait to see how she turns out the whole story.
