Konami has revealed a new trailer for the next one CYGNI: All the guns on fire during the Gamescon and looks great. The double-stick vertical scrolling shooter appears to be a fun blend of old-school nostalgic gameplay and next-generation graphics.
It was also announced that it will not only be released on Steam in 2023, but will also launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. The game overall looks fun, you will be able to upgrade your ship, take down colossal alien bosses and shoot everything you see in your fight for survival. And you can play one or two player with the local co-op which is always a plus for me.
The new trailer, which you can check out below, doesn’t reveal much, but the graphics it displays are impressive. My favorite moment is at the end, when you see the giant alien you will have to fight rise from the ground. It looks so intimidating and I’m sure it will just be an incredibly satisfying fight.
