A red band trailer has been released for the upcoming vintage war epic Medieval, which tells the true story of a medieval Czech warlord, Jan Zizka. The trailer makes fun of the savage wars that will be featured in the film and there is a lot of blood and brutal violence.
The film is the protagonist Ben Foster like Jan Zizka, and is joined by Sophie Lowe, Michele Caino, Matthew Goode, Up to Schweiger, Roland Møller, William Moseley, Karel RodenAnd Werner Daehn.
Medieval comes from the Czech director Petr Jakl, and I hope the movie is as good as it looks! I love epic war movies, so I can’t wait to watch them! The only thing I don’t like about this trailer is the music. I don’t like it when they use modern music for these historical epics. It seems to me that it belittles it.
Inspired by the true story of Jan Žižka, one of the greatest warriors in history. After the death of its reigning emperor, the Holy Roman Empire plunges into chaos as brothers King Wenceslas of the Czech Republic and Sigismund of Hungary fought for control of the empty throne. Bold and righteous mercenary leader Jan Zizka (Ben Foster) is soon hired by Lord Boresh (Michael Caine) to kidnap Lord Rosenberg (Til Schweiger) powerful girlfriend Lady Katherine (Sophie Lowe) to prevent the rise to power of Rosenberg together with the corrupt king. Sigismund. Jan believes kings are God’s right hand and should be respected and obeyed no matter what. As Katherine becomes embroiled in a dangerous political game between the monarchs, Jan falls in love with her strong spirit and her dedication to saving the people.
Medieval will be released in theaters on September 9, and then arrive on VOD starting October 31, 2022.
