August 28 Power Rangers Day, Hasbro announced season 30 of Power Rangers would be called Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury and would mark a huge change for the franchise. First, fans have been aware of the name for a while thanks to a leak, so it wasn’t too surprising. However, the part that thrilled many, including myself, was a throwback to the original Zordon era where the cast won’t change for the new season. The Rangers of Fury Dino they will continue their journey Cosmic Fury which is the first time since the Zordon era that Rangers have moved beyond their 1-2 season series. Even though I couldn’t watch Fury Dino again (I’m finishing Fury of the jungle), I’ve heard great things about the cast, so it’s exciting. Returning cast members include Russel Curry, Hunter Deno, Jordan Fite, Kai Moya, Perez possibilityAnd Tessa Rao with Simone Bennett returning as showrunner e Becca Barnes And Alywn Dale returning as writers. Speaking of what I call a return to form, Bennett said:
Since the first episode of Power Rangers Dino Fury, this Power Rangers team has broken the mold of the franchise in many ways, so it’s thrilling and humbling to be able to continue the story of these characters in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury. Power Rangers Dino Fury Season 2 concludes with some great revelations and we’re so grateful to Hasbro and eOne that we can continue to tell these stories in a brand new way.
We don’t know much about the story apart from “The Adventure [of Dino Fury] continues in “Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury”, with the team heading into space! “I guess we will have more clues with the second season Fury Dino ends at the end of September. You can watch the first season and the first half of the second Fury Dino on Netflix now with the second half of the second season due out September 29. Cosmic Fury will launch in autumn 2023.
