
Crypt of the NecroDancer it’s a really fun game and a new DLC is now available in Early Access. The DLC is titled SYNCHRONY and brings a lot of changes. With the DLC, developer Brace Yourself Games has opened up full mod support for most aspects of the game via mod.io. Madeleine Gray of Brace Yourself Games explains that it was as perfect as SYNCHRONY was originally a mod made by Vortex Buffer fans.
Modding has been an important part of our community for a long time, in fact the Crypt of the NecroDancer: SYNCHRONY DLC started out as a community mod. We thought the creators, now known as Vortex Buffer, were so great that we decided to work with them to make SYNCHRONY an official DLC.
Vortex Buffer and modders in general have made Crypt of the NecroDancer better than we ever thought it could be. With mod.io making modding easier and more accessible than ever, we’ve seen a huge influx of edited content in just the last few weeks and can’t wait to see what mods people will do in the future.
