Warner Bros. has done it again: they’ve tweaked their entire release schedule and delayed several DC titles. The company is still undergoing restructuring and according to Deadline, “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” runs from March 17, 2023 to December 25 of the same year it’s Shazam! The fury of the gods will fill the void in Jason Momoa’s film, which is nearly three months late. It seems that James Wan, director of the “Aquaman” sequel, needs more time to complete post-production as he moves “Shazam!” It responds to a commercial strategy since it will not have to compete at the box office with ‘Avatar: The Sense of Water’ and will also be able to occupy the IMAX screens that Disney will monopolize with James Cameron.
