I have a great new featurette for Sylvester Stallonethe next super-powerful vigilante movie Samaritan. Stallone plays a superhero who is thought to be dead, but comes out of retirement when a child discovers his secret.
The featurette includes interviews with Sly and her co-star Javon “I wish” Walton exalting the movie, but there are also many great new cutscenes included for your visual enjoyment.
In the film, “13-year-old Sam Cleary (Javon “I wish” Walton) suspects that his mysterious and lonely neighbor Mr. Smith (Stallone) is actually a hidden legend in plain sight. Twenty years ago, Granite City’s super-powered vigilante Samaritan was pronounced dead after a fiery battle in a warehouse with his rival, Nemesis. Most believe Samaritan died in the fire, but some in town, like Sam, hope he is still alive. With crime on the rise and the city on the brink of chaos, Sam decides to convince his neighbor to come out to save the city from ruin.
Stallone previously talked about the film saying, “I love action movies that also have a heart. I wanted to get involved with Samaritan because this story has many levels where I think people can relate. It is a kind of moral tale that is also very exciting to watch. We are thrilled that this will be seen globally on Prime Video, where my fans and the entire audience can enjoy it together around the world. “
Samaritan era is headed by Giulio Avery (Gentleman And Son of a gun). The film will premiere on August 26, 2022 on Amazon Prime.
