Cute Rom-Com ABOUT FATE trailer and poster featuring Emma Roberts and Thomas Mann

A new trailer and poster have been released for the cute rom-com About fatehero Emma Roberts (We are the Millers, American horror story) And Thomas Mann (Me, Earl and the dying girl, The Lady and the Tramp). They are joined in the cast by Brit Robertson, Madelaine Petsch, Wendi Malick, Cheryl HinesAnd Lewis Tan.

About fate is a remake of a Russian movie called The irony of fate (1975), and is directed by the Russian director Mario Vaysbergalias Mario Balchunas (No vacancy, no love in the city, The (not) perfect guy). The screenplay is written by Tiffany Paulsenand the film features the music of Benjamin Zecker.

Here is the synopsis:

When both their engagement proposals fail, hopeless romantics Margot (Emma Roberts) and Griffin (Thomas Mann) reunite on New Year’s Eve after a period of fateful events. Both believing in true love, they embark on a magical and comical journey together, only to soon realize that the love they have been looking for all this time may be right in front of them.

It feels like a cute romantic comedy in the spirit of the movies we were seeing a lot more. Check out the trailer and poster below and watch About fate in selected American theaters and on VOD on 9 September.
