Tatiana Maslany will star in AMC’s INVITATION TO A BONFIRE series

Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black, She-Hulk) will star in a new series coming to AMC titled Invitation to a bonfire. He joins the previously announced cast members Freya Mavor, Pilou AsbaekAnd Ngozi Anyanwu.

The series comes from Rachel Caris Amore, and is inspired by the co-dependent marriage of Vladimir and Vera Nabokov. It is based on the novel written by Adriana Celtaand the story is set in “a girls’ boarding school in the 1930s”.

The series follows Zoya (Mavor), “a young Russian immigrant and garden keeper, who becomes embroiled in a deadly love triangle with the newest faculty member Leo (Asbæk) – an enigmatic novelist – and the charming Vera ( Maslany), who is Leo’s daughter. Wife, his publisher and his everything. “

Dan McDermott, president of entertainment for AMC Networks and AMC Studios, said: “Tatiana is a unique talent that we have wanted to bring back to the AMC Networks family since her iconic performance and one that has defined her career in Orphan Black. The first season will drop at some point in 2023 and will run for six episodes.
