Blumhouse has developed a film adaptation of the classic horror game Five nights at Freddy’s with the creator Scott Cawthon. This project has been in development for a few years and according to the manufacturer Jason Blumthe reason it took so long is because they had trouble deciphering the story.
Well, the producer recently shared a photo on Twitter featuring a behind-the-scenes footage of Jim Henson’s Creature Shop working on the film. The image was accompanied by the caption: “It’s great to work with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. Their experience and expertise with animatronics is absolutely deadly!
The photo shows an artist working on an animatronic and it looks like it could be Freddy Fazbear’s character. Freddy is the main antagonist of Five nights at Freddy’s.
In the Five nights at Freddy’s game, you take on the role of a night watchman and sit down to keep an eye on the security cameras for an animatronic pizza nightmare place called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Animatronic nightmares have a tendency to come alive at night and try to kill you.
This movie has the potential to be a fun horror movie and I love the fact that Jim Henson’s Creature Shop will be working on the development of the movie! While we wait for the film to be made and released, we can always have fun Nicolas Cage’S Willy’s Wonderland!
