‘Barbie’ and the possibility of a “multiverse”
Although the history of the romantic comedy, ‘Barbie’is still kept under wraps, rumors of what the film was going to be were inevitable. According to journalist Kyle Buchanan, Greta Gerwing’s Mattel doll movie would have three versions of Barbie that would be played by Margot Robbie, Issa Rae and Heri Nef; plus three versions of Ken that would come to the screen starring Ryan Gosling, Ncuti Gawta and Simu Liu; although until now this information has not been confirmed or denied by Warner Bros.
There is a possibility that before the end of 2022 the first teaser trailer for “Barbie” will be revealed; although eventually the film will still end up on the big screen in less than a year to show a romantic comedy with classic toys created by Mattel more than sixty years ago.
